When making the muffins, consider using whole milk for a richer flavor, or opting for a dairy-free milk if you’re avoiding dairy. If you’re looking to cut down on sugar, you could swap in a sugar alternative that measures like sugar. Fresh blueberries are ideal, but frozen can work in a pinch—just be sure not to thaw them beforehand to keep them from bleeding into the batter.
