- 3 oranges, peeled, sectioned and patted dry
- 1/4 cup cocktail peanuts, coarsely chopped
Instructions
- Microwave 1/3 cup milk chocolate in a microwavable bowl on high for about 2 minutes or until the chocolate is almost melted.
- Remove from the microwave and stir until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth.
- Take each orange section and dip half of it into the melted chocolate, making sure to get a good coating.
- Place the dipped orange sections on a baking sheet lined with wax paper.
- Sprinkle the coarsely chopped cocktail peanuts over the chocolate-covered portion of each orange.
- Refrigerate for about 15 minutes, or until the chocolate has set and is firm to the touch.
- Store the chocolate-covered oranges loosely covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. A serving size is half an orange per person.
