Danish Cookie Rings (Vanille Kranse) are a delightful treat that blend the nutty flavor of almonds with sweet cherries, creating beautifully decorated rings perfect for any occasion. The cookies not only look charming but also offer a delightful crunch and buttery goodness that will leave everyone craving more.

When preparing Danish Cookie Rings, consider using finely chopped hazelnuts or walnuts in place of blanched almonds for a different nutty flavor. If allergies are a concern, gluten-free all-purpose flour can be a suitable swap for regular flour. While fresh cherries could be a substitute, candied cherries add a delightful sweetness and color that enhances presentation.
