For a nut-free version, feel free to skip the pecans or replace them with a sprinkle of chocolate shavings or a drizzle of additional fudge. If you want to swap out the pie crust, a graham cracker crust would work nicely too. It’s important to use high-quality toppings; the flavor of the caramel and fudge can really make or break the dessert, so choose brands you trust.
