When preparing Ube Waffles, you can substitute almond or oat milk for a dairy-free option, and feel free to use gluten-free all-purpose flour if needed. For the purple sweet potato, make sure it’s thoroughly cooked—perfectly mashed will yield the best results. If you’re sensitive to spicy foods, adjust the crushed red pepper flakes to suit your taste, or leave them out altogether.
