If you’re looking for substitutions, feel free to swap the butter with margarine or a dairy-free alternative for a lactose-free version. For those avoiding gluten, a gluten-free flour blend could work, just make sure it has binding agents. Always check for allergies when using white chocolate, as some brands may contain traces of nuts or other allergens. Sourcing a fresh vanilla bean elevates the cookie’s flavor profile significantly, but high-quality vanilla extract could be a suitable alternate.
